The Venetian fleet is without doubt one of the oldest and most varied in the world: its boats and ships produced by an amphibious people who, living on the water and depending on the water for every necessity, had to devise specific solutions for every single task.

The purpose of this site is to illustrate the technical characteristics of these vessels and the work we carry out for the research and reconstruction of this important aspect of the cultural heritage of Venice
